This question is for anyone with the right answer. I have a friend who has -- and I am not sure which -- either Dish Network or DirecTV. He lives within the Toledo, Ohio DMA.

Does Dish or DirecTV have plans to add Toledo to its local carriage?

DirecTV has either placed in service or plans to serve 101 total markets by the end of the year. Toledo is not one of them.

Dish Network has either placed in service or plans to serve 100 total markets by the end of the year. It may be more, but I am not sure. I do know that Toledo is not one of them, either.

However, I am under the assumption that both providers, if they can find space with either new or planned satellites, which will be launched later this year, will evaluate what other markets will be able to be placed in service in the future.
