I have a shintom VCR that still works when the rf output is hooked up to a computer I can see the video and hear the audio but when it is hooked up to a tv I just see the video and not hear the audio. would an rf signal amplifier fix the signal so I could here see the video and here the audio on the tv?

How do you have it connected? Most people use a yellow cable or SVHS for video and red and white cables for audio. You can use RF through a coax but that is not as good.

I would try a phono preamp there about 20 to 30 bucks. That's if you hook it up composite or s video,i don't think a rf amp will help because the circuitry is already in the vcr.
