vip722 reboots

My vip722 reboots every now and again for no reason. Usually when it still is in stand by mode or turned off. It is frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this. I called dish and they are going to have a tech come out and maybe replace receiver.

Sounds like you have the right plan to get a tech out. These things do happen but it is hard to guess at what the cause might be. Can be anything from dirty power, ground loops, receiver too hot, bad receiver etc.
