NHL center Ice games?

i am looking to leave DTV cause the lost VS, im a huge hockey (penguins) fan and i want my VS and Center Ice.

i am looking to go to time Warner OR dish network. can anyone tell me which is better? as far as game coverage and most importantly HD coverage. Time warners website said they would only carry 7 HD games a week..that sucks..

anyone have any info for me before i make a decision on who to go with?

thanks

how many HD games per week does Dish broadcast compared to DTV

I'm not a hockey fan so I can't really answer your question, but why did DirecTV drop VS? Dish Network still has dedicated VS HD, so you should be good for that channel.

I think as long as you're not a Rangers, Devils or Sabres fan you're pretty well off; MSG/MSG2/MSG+ HD aren't available, so I don't think Center Ice carries their feeds. I can't afford Center Ice, but I like the free previews :)

Directv hasn't dropped the channel yet. Might be too soon to pull that trigger. They still have time to work out that contract.

I've had Dish Network for a while now, and I love the sports packages that they offer. If you're looking to stick with satellite tv, I'd say Dish Network is definitely your best bet.
