My installer is giving me the option of 3 Phase III dishes...all for the same price. Is there a difference between these brands? Any suggestions are appreciated.

-Thanks

Phase III isn't a brand name, the oval triple LNB dish with integrated multiswitch is called a Phase III dish. I'm sure he's not givig you three of them, he was probably trying to explain that the Phase III will let your receivers track all three satellites with the one dish. I would say to definitely go with the Phase III as it not only gets you a few more channels at no extra charge, it also has a 5x4 multiswitch built in which will allow you to hook up to 4 receivers with out an external switch. Plus you will be ready when you decide to go HD as those channels will be on the 110 sat.

Jtater, the three brand names (Acer, RCA, and KTI) are in the topic title. I have an Acer (WNC on the dish) Phase III myself, and it works great. I also see KTI and RCA Phase III dishes around here, and I don't see any major differences between them. The only bad thing I've heard is that some WNC dishes have trouble with some newer RCA receivers, but it works fine with my RCA receiver.

The proffesional installers at dbsinstallsupport.com strongly recommended the KTI Phase III dish! And they install all three brands!

All three are the same product just different names printed on the front of the dish.
