Will there be a week one free preview for NFL ST this year?

There has been every year I don't see it changing. The first weekend is almost always a preview of ST and SF. Week 2 usually has tons of posts about "Where did my HD go?" and "Why are they telling me I have to pay $100 to have the HD games I had last week?" From the new customer sign ups.

I know there was last season for week 1. That was my first year with DirecTV so I can not comment on any other years but I read where others have said the first weekend is free every year.

I don't remember a Sunday Ticket free preview, are you sure it's not the "SuperFan" package your thinking of?

The first weekend last year it was Sunday Ticket and SuperFan both that was the free preview.

I just got my bill recently and I recall that it said there was a free preview of ST in week one this year.

The most recent bill insert I have shows the following free previews:

NFLST- September 13

Choice Extra - September 1-7

Starz - September 17-20

Game Lounge - September 4-6

I hope thats true i cant afford both sunday ticket and nba league pass,so i hope i can get the free preview of at least 1 day of sunday ticket. I wish directv would let us pay year round for sunday ticket and nba league pass. say something like $35.00 to $40.00 a month,making it easier to get both packages, right now i can only do the nba league pass.

According to BonScott87 in another thread:http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=154593 he mentions DTV has an easy pay option for NFL in January or February, I'd check with DTV at the end of this season to see if they are offering an easy pay option for NFL ST and what the price is.

I think there was an easy pay option for a 10-pay for NFLST...

Yep Easy Pay Plan was available past January 2009 for $279.99 = 10 months x $27.99 per month + scott i think got free superfan too.
