Anyone catch dead like me last night? I loved it, and the PQ was impressive on dish. Will have to watch this every week.

We loved it too. One of the funniest things on TV! A little too anti-religion at times but I expected that. I do hate that it conflicts w/ Monk. I'll probably watch "Dead" & find Monk repeated at odd times.

It was good, although what they did to that little girl at the end got me mad. That must just be my Spielbergian happy ending-itis I suffer from. You can kill off adults and I'm fine, but mess with kids and I get ticked off. I do the same thing when they torture some kids on ER. I have to get up and leave the room for a minute.
Actually the show that got me excited was Out of Order. They start rerunning the episodes again soon for those that missed it. The scenes where Eric Stoltz has scenes with himself as his shrink are some of the most poignant and powerful I've seen. Catch it if you haven't already.
And if you need another reason, we see Justine Bateman's chest. Hmm, Mallory's all grown up now.

I saw this show when it first came on last week ago and I fell alseep watching it.....BOOOOOOOORING! Boring intro, boring, boring, boring.
I only have SHOTIME for SoulFood and Street Time and the new show Family Business and a few others. Sho shows the same damn movies over and over now.. :-(

Having seen the 1st two episodes in their entirety, I am somewhat conflicted with this series. I must say that I like the characters & the actors portraying them for the most part as well as the general feeling & production.
But the absurdity, or rather, stupidity of the "grim reaper" & "grave-lings" concept(s) is very annoying. It simply makes no sense that these "undead" characters have to live a normal life with a job to pay rent, eat meals, got to the bathroom, etc. while needing to fulfill their "appointments" to take souls before the nasty grave-lings do their thing.
In fact, the "grave-lings" seem to be entirely superfluous.
Then, too, the poor grim reapers have to get to their appointments by public transport, walking, even hitch-hiking (not reliable ways to ensure being on time.) Their "marks" live on after soul extraction for a while before the grave-lings do their thing.
It's all so ridiculous.
I'm also trying to figure out the toilet seat theme. I hope it's not just in there to remind us that "life is crap" or some such juvenile notion.

Maybe its to show there is no free ride in life, or death errr. undeath. The PQ on dish hd has been very good too.
If anyone wants to review or catch up on this series, it looks like Showtime is running all 3 of the episodes shown so far back-to-back tonight.
If it weren't for the terminally cute Ellen Muth and
her engaging foul-mouth character, I probably
wouldn't watch it. She is cute as a bug.
