Well,
I just turned on my 721 ... and got the tuner picture in the upper right of the screen. Just like when the guide is on ... but no guide was being displayed ! kinda funny looking, so I taped the pip to see if it was a problem with one tuner being out and the pip was showing the second tuner ... or something similar .... but pop comes the pip and I had two small screens running at one time !
kinda cool feature ... it would be neat if you could do this on demand and use the blank area to play a game (maybe in 1.14 ?) :D
.. (see below pic)
not exactly a bug, but kind of goofy never the less.
As soon as I hit the guide button, everything went back to normal.

I think it would be cool to use the PIP for the channel 0, maybe that can be done now and I dont know it.

I got the same thing this morning, although I couldn't get the PIP or anything else to come up and had to reboot to fix it.

Yesterday my pip wasn't working either and I had to do a smart card reset to fix it. In fact, any of my timers that were set to go up agianst another- only one would fire. It was like I only had one tuner I could access. Weird!

I turned my 721 on last night and I have got a complete new guide on it.Everything is in small print, whats playing now and whats coming on later is all the same color(green).Everything had to be realigned. You get the guide lined up and the browse banners are out of line.I don't like this guide at all,I hope it's not here to stay. One good thing though, tuner 2 seems to be working.A couple of days ago it was terrible.Figure this.

I seen this posted somewhere else too where someone was seeing a new guide.

At least he used the correct "where".

I was just trying to get the point across, this is not a formal forum is it? Everyone makes mistakes, I do not go pick at everyone else's typing errors. Sorry for using where twice in a sentence. I suppose if people are going to get offended at what I say on the boards then so am I. These forums are not the friendly forums I started using when I first came here.

My apologies, Jacob. Of course this is not a formal forum. My comment was directed at the conjugation of "see". It is actually a very common mis-conjugation and is regionally accepted. I did not mean to offend you. I was just "goofin' on ya".
