Just installed a 222 with a Panasonic 720P plasma and have faint wavy lines moving from upper left to lower right. All connections are tight. Any ideas?
It could be a bad cable. Try replacing the cable is probably the first course of action. Some people have had trouble with bad HDMI ports (receiver, TV) or bad HDMI cables. The only guess based upon the information provided.

Actually I used component cables but tomorrow I will try HDMI. The TV is brand new and Dish was installed two weeks ago but the HD was just turned on Saturday. Never had the problem with SD.

Faint wavy lines, but no buzzing?
I had that problem (but with a ton of buzz) with my in-wall Cat5e-component baluns. Apparently it's been acknowledged that there can be a problem with AC bleeding over to the component outputs.
I wound up picking up a hum eliminator from Audio Authority and it's been working beautifully ever since.

Check your dish, be sure it is properly grounded.
It may be a ground loop that could cause premature receiver failure.

Replacing the component video cables with an HDMI cable fixed the problem.
