VT HD locals question

I am assuming this a Dish issue and not with the local networks, on my HD locals Ch 3 WCAX, CH 5 WCVB, CH 22 WVNY, CH44 WFFF when the lottery info comes up or a weather update it will at these times revert to the SD signal on the HD channel and the audio will go from dolby digital to two channel stereo then will revert back to HD I have at times lost a bit of audio during a program because of the change. Not a big deal but kind of pain does anyone else experinece this? OA is not a good option live in what is called the Conneticut river valley only two channels available according to antenna web Ch 31 which is a duplicate of CH 5 and the PBS channels so have not really decided if want to put the money in to a OA setup or not.
Would appreciate your input on this.

The station probably does not have the equipment to integrate the extra info into the HD picture so they drop it to SD.

It is a local station issue, not a Dish issue.

In Portland ME, we used to have the same issue with WMTW 8 ABC which I received OTA. Lately they have upgraded their equipment and can not only add lottery numbers but are able to scroll local news info across the screen without dropping out of 16:9 HD. Give your local stations time to move up to the 21st century, it is costly.
