I am thinking about switching from dish network to directv. I need help picking out a hdtv receiver. I have looked at their current line. Will directv be coming out with a receiver that will allow d-vhs recording?

None I know about, but they are releasing a HDTV/TiVo combo unit late this year or early next year. It will record regular & HDTV Directv AND OTA HDTV channels.
