Problems with Dolby Digital on my 721?

I was watching Panic Room which I had recorded a few months ago on HBO and I listened to the DD5.1 feed with no problems. Now all of a sudden, recordings of Sex and the City and Ellen's recent comedy show are NOT coming up in DD5.1 (even though Ellen's show flashed the DD logo at the beginning of the broadcast).

Am I having some weird problem or is HBO-E not sending out DD anymore? My receiver is set for Dolby Digital/PCM and I have watched DD programs previously so I know it isn't my A/V receiver.

My receiver is set for Dolby Digital/PCMDid you check? An NVM reset will cause to to reset to PCM, as will other users of the system if you don't watch them close! :)

Yes, I did check and it is set to Dolby Digital/PCM.

Anyonen else watch the Ellen broadcast in DD? Is Sex and the City NOT broadcast in DD?

both shows are Dolby digital ver.2 to listen in 5.1 it must be in 3/2

That would explain it. My receiver automatically detects when a Dolby Digital 5.1 signal is present and defaults to Dolby Digital. When a PCM signal is detected it defaults to my ALL CH STEREO to spread the signal over my 7.1 config.
