I finally setup my wireless bridge yesterday to connect my HR21 to DOD.
Connection went fine and my HR21 confirmed it had a connection. Checked Network status and everything is good. Connected to both internet and network.

Went to channel 1000 and only had the welcome video. Waited 24hrs and still no new DOD other than welcome vid so I reset the box (rebooted). When it came back up the network status was still good, but now I can't go to channel 1000. It says "1000 is currently unavailable". I redid the network setup and still see the same message. Performed a full system test and the only thing it failed on was not connected to a phone line. What's going on????? Seems i've gone backwards not forwards.

Help!

Call Custoner Service.. make sure DOD is enabled for your account, it should be but might not. If it isn't, once they enable, your menus will populate over the next 24 hrs.

Well I called DTV. DTV confirmed that DOD is enabled on my account. The lady I spoke to told me that because I couldn't see "connect now" that I wasn't connected; even though the Network status in INFO was all setup with IP's and had Network/Internet connected. For some reason she believes that without the "connect now" msg i'm not connected !!!!

She had me do a restore defaults and "connect now" again which of course all worked. Not sure she knew what she was doing and was probably reading off some problem solving guide. I tried to explain that all tests and info say i'm connected. Anyways she went on to say that I needed to wait a further 24hrs and make sure I was staying connected !!??!!!!

I'm an I.T professional and made sure I tested the wireless bridge before I connected it. I can see that the HR21 has the correct IP, default gateway etc. and everthing I check suggests that the DVR is all connected correctly.

Question; does the "Status" number under Network: mean anything?

Not impressed so far!

I would ask a Mod to move this to the HR forum, where you might get more views and help, or repost your Question here (http://www.dbstalk.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=60&f=112).

Wish I could offer more help!

I thought this was the correct place for DOD questions no?

That's OK, you have done everything you can do at this point. You will have to wait the 24 hrs now to see if the guide populates. This could happen in less than 24 hours, but don't expect that and I wouldn't even bother checking for at least 12 hours.

If there is still a problem, repost your issue over on the HD DVR forum and we will try to assist.

"For me" it only affects TVApps.

Another reset might help.

Ok. I'll wait.

One last thing; home come before the reboot I could go to 1000 but only see the Welcome video, and after the reboot I can no longer go to 1000 ?

BTW I see all the 1000+ channels in my guide.
