When is ESPNHD HD??

Can I assume that a prime time game on ESPNhd will be in hd?? or are these games scheduled specially?? from the espmhd website, I got the impression tonites game would NOT be in hd. The next hd game was July 4 (I think). Can anyone shed some lite??

Ah...ESPN-(non)HD. This is exactly why many of us did NOT want ESPN-HD added to Directv's programming as a stand-alone channel with extra cost. There's very little HD programming.

I believe the next game in HD is scheduled for July 4th. From what I've seen on the schedule, ESPN-HD will have an actual HD broadcast once a day or once every other day. Hardly impressive, huh? Their HD schedule is going to increase over the next year or two, but until then it's just another channel of regular ESPN.

I'm happy to have the HD channel now, don't get me wrong, but it's pretty much useless for 20 hours a day.

Very little of ESPNHD is HD that is why DISH has not signed on to carry it. Too little programming for an additional cost. But in 2004 it's content will improve.
