His first game on TV as a pro will be against the New Jersey Nets. Cleveland’s team is entered in the Boston summer league.
This is the first time the summer league is being televised on the NBA’s 24-hour network. ESPN has televised summer games in previous years.
NBA TV will air live coverage from the L.A. Pro Summer League in Los Angeles, the Reebok Pro Summer League in Boston and the Reebok Rocky Mountain Revue in Salt Lake City.
The summer leagues are held in July and feature NBA rookies, free agents and other players.

Its just the summer league..... but it will be average test.

I didn't realize NBAtv was only in the AEP, til I saw it in red after I dropped the movie channels. Odd, that it's the only non movie channel in the AEP.

I emailed Dish about the NBA tv channel, and they said it's in the Sports multi pak, even though their site doesn't show it. I was going to add it anyway, nice to know NBA tv is in it.

Has anybody seen the game or heard anything about Lebron James' defense in the past two summer league games?

When I saw him in HS, he didn't have a clue about how to play defense. All he did was stand in the key and block shots or go for the quick steal and dunk.

I was interested to see how he was playing defense versus good competition.

Sounds like he got schooled by Dwayne Wade last game, but in my opinion, he shouldn't be guarding a very quick 2 guard.

He should be guarding SF's in his first couple years until he proves he can play defense.
