The first new Justice League episodes to air in almost a year on the Cartoon Network air on Saturday the 6th starting at 8 MDT. Two new epsides (part 1 and 2) will be shown.
And for 2 hours before this, the Cartoon Network is airing the 4 episodes of Superman: The Animated Series dealing with Darkseid and Apokolips! :D

Thanks for the tip.
This is a great show with great stories and one of the best theme songs for any cartoon series.
When compared with the Superfriends show from my youth you can see how much better the writing and drawing is compared to then. I actually record the shows to have something to watch with my kids (9 and 3 years old). My daughter, 3 ESPECIALLY likes the Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl characters. She will be an Amazon in her own right (my sister is 6'1", or as she likes to say 5'13" and my daughter is following that path as my 3 year old has hand me down clothes to send to her 5 year old cousin).
I also like that they tend to make 2 and three part episodes so they can get really deep into a story arc like the old XMen cartoons used to do.

Agreed! I have very fond memories of the Superfriends series from 6:00am Saturday mornings growing up, but the new series are soooooo much better! :)

I liked the Legion of Doom, but I think one scene of the old JL/Superfriends really dates it for me:
The Superfriends were meeting to decide what to do about the current threat to the world; they were then going to take the info to the United Nations for them to create a UN resolution or something....Wonder Woman is totally silent, then it zooms in on her: "And I'll take notes!" Way to advance the role of women....
I do like the new JL, and the fact that they are multipart.
Does anyone know how many episodes exist? I don't even watch it often, and I think I've seen every episode two or three times. I was going to start PVRing it, but every ep on in the next 9 days, I've seen [although I did really like the Justice Society, or whatever, ep--I like parallel universe stories, and I liked how they wrapped it up.]
Hawkgirl is tough! She doesn't take any crap. Sometimes she's a little quick to hit first, ask questions later, but that makes it more realistic [note: I have not idea how she's currently represented in the comics.]
I like Flash, too--there is such a difference between Barry and Wally [at least comparing the two Flash series I read, the one in the 70's with the Top, Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, etc., and the one in the 80's, when DC revamped the whole JL.]
