1080i lit up

Ever since the recent software upgrade, I've noticed that the 1080i light on the front of my two 20-100 DVRs is lit up, even when watching a show that's not in HD. I've checked settings/resolution, and all are checked. I have "native" set to off to avoid the delay and black screen when changing channels, but regardless shouldn't the light automatically change when I switch to a show not in 1080i?

On my 21-700, which just received the software upgrade today, the light remains on the 720 setting regardless of what channel I watch,and the settings are the same as stated above for the 20-100s.

Also, on my 21-700, when I click on the direction-right arrow, the apps don't appear as they do on the 20-100s. Is this a feature limited to the 100s?

With "Native" off it will remain on the setting you last left it, with "NAtive" on it will aoutomatically set itself to the resolution of the broadcast.
