I currently have a 5LNB Slimline Dish with one HD DVR and one SD DVR connected to the four outlet ports on the LNB. I want to install an additional SD receiver and think that I must install a Zinwell WB68 Switch to obtain the additional dish output. Does the installation of the WB68 Switch require anything in addition to just cutting the cables and installing the switch? Help please.
If you have 2 DVRs you will be using all 4 lines, so yes you will need a WB68.
The WB68 just needs four cables coming from the dish going into the one side, and then the cables going out to your receiver on the other. If you can mount it outside by the dish you should be able to just pull back the 4 current cables so you dont have to cut them and reterminate them. Then just use 4 jumpers between the WB68 and the dish and add your new line for the new receiver.

Depending upon which receivers you currently have, you could also use an SWM (single wire multiswitch) module. This would give you up to eight tuners.
Either the module or the SWM-LNB on your dish. Solidsignal sells both.
This is a great thread that might provide you some good info on SWM.
