I have a 7200 which has been working pretty well until recently. My signal strength has dropped off. I use to receive on 119 around 118 and on 110 about 110%. Now I get when I do a mult dish check of 119 around 60 and 110 @ 74 (shows trp 11 on screen).
I recently added on a DP 301 for my dad's bedroom and after I ran the cable (using dual LNBS w/ 2 SW21s), I did a check of his recevier and he gets 119 @ 115 and 110 @ 110. I thought I had bad cable, so I switched receiver locations and the same problem occurs when the 7200 is hooked up in my dad's room.
Any one else out there expirenced this w/ this or any type 2 receiver setup using the config I am using? If I do need to replace my receiver, anyone gone through the process of getting a replacement or maybe even requesting a different unit (would consider requesting a 301 or a 501 if pricing was reasonable). I also have a extended warranty plan through DISH so I hope this may be assist as well.
