Losing login

Hi Guys,

I seem to have a problem that not only happens on this board but several other boards that I frequent. On occasion, I have to login to the board when I have never logged out. I am wondering why I am losing my login and have to login again. This happens about once a week. I accept cookies so I don't think that is a problem. Any help? Thanks.

Are you clicking on 'remember login' on the discussion boards? What web browser do you use?

I could be wrong but I don't think at least some of them have the "remember login" check box but I could be wrong. I will look for it now. I am using Netscape 7.0.

I had a similar problem a while ago using Internet Explorer. Try clearing your cookies and temporary internet files and see if that helps. :)

I had to login again today. The "remember me" was already checked so that is not the problem. I will try clearing cookies and files. thanks

Sounds like a browser problem, we have about 1000 members come in daily and they dont have this problem (or we would be hearing a lot of complaints about it) :D

If clearing your cookies does not work I suggest reinstalling the browser. :)

I lose the login to DBStalk every now and then. It does not happen very often but it does. Maybe the cookie gets cleaned out, but it is not something I know that is happening.

if you use adaware or other spyware killers, they remove the tracking cookie that caches your login information.

I just Ad-Aware frequently and that's never happened to me before.
