I was poking around on the Keohi (www.keohi.com) HDTV site and ran across a link to the Momitsu DVD-V880 from Hivizone (www.hivizone.com).

They claim it is
- capable of resolutions up to 720p and 1080i through BOTH component and DVI connections.
- compatible with MPEG-4 (Divx version 4.02+) and JPEG picture CD
- Multi-region and capable of playing DVDs with RCE (Regional Coding Enhancement)!
- Macrovision disabled!
Keohi.com says they will be testing this player as soon as Errol can get his hands on one. Seems Hivizone is currently backordered, but says they are expecting another shipment in July.
Could this be the ultimate hi-res DVD Player we have all been waiting for? Only time and thorough testing will tell.
