Hello, I'm new to this forum.

I'm having reception problems with the new Discovery, ESPN-HD, HDNet Movies and SHOW-HD.

HBO-HD and HDNet are coming in fine.

I've had the SAT-C kit installed and working without problems since it became available last year.
SHOW-HD came in good during that time.

Signed up for the new channels on July 1, had them all working good until the 4th.
At that time I started getting breakups and no picture with the "searching for signal" message on all but HBO and HDNet.

Nothing has changed here, no obstructions, no work performed on system.

The 101 transponders all show high 80s-mid 90s for signal strength.
110/119 transponders show numbers 22 through 32 all in the low to mid 80s with the exception of #28
reading 67.

On the 4th I unplugged the system because we were under a storm watch and I was leaving for a while.
Storms never happened.
I've tried unplugging for a reset several times.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Dan

Update.

I checked the transponder signal strengths today and discovered #8, 10 and 12 on SAT
110/119 show no signal.
Looks like I could have a failure somewhere in the SAT-C kit.
Ever hear of a diplexer or LNB going bad.

On another forum 2 other members responded with the same problem.
They said the new HD channels worked great for about 3 days and then
started breaking up. Strange

Well, the problem is solved. The C LNB was the culprit.
Replaced it and all is well.
