Hello!

We have used a bird dog ultra to align an 18" dish using the swm 101 selection on the bird dog. I got about 85 percent, but when I go to the box, it say that I have zero signal except for transponders 27, 29, and 30 I believe. I have a new dish, new lnb, and new d12-100 box.

Any ideas?

It's probably actually seeing 27 29 & 31...
Uh, you're on the 110 bird - move the dish over to the left about 9 degrees & the tilt up a bit... ;)
It sounds like your Birddog is not prog correctly to recognize each different sat.

Just curious, did you mean transponders 32, 30, 28, on 110?

(Frequency converted down to Tps. 8, 10, and 12 in the L-band output by the Sat. C. LNB of course)

Also, you should not be using the SWM setting for 101, but the "DirecTV Ka/KU 3G 101" setting.

I agree with the others that you are almost certainly pointing at the 110 sat.

Yea, since we don't require 110 anymore for HD, forgot it was the even's...

You were all right. I was on 110. Like an idiot. Its been about 5 years since I have used the birdog, so I got it dialed into 110 very well...... but when the bar on the top was at around 90 percent, I thought I was good, but I ignored the fact that it still said "searching" on the bottom. Rookie mistake. Thank you all for your help!

BTW, I loaded the individual transponder files on the birdog and that really helped me to narrow down what was going on.
