Frozen Blank Recordings

This is the second time this has happened to me. I have a show recorded, the time indicated for the recording is the length of the show. When I go to play it from my list, I get a blank screen and the progress won't move and I can't get it to move. Only Stop or delete show works? Any thoughts?

That's the old KOD (Keep or Delete) bug. Unfortunately, there is usually not much that can be done with that. You can try resetting the DVR as that sometimes works as does quickly jumping to the end of the recording (press and hold the Skip Ahead button) and then rewinding to just after the problem spot of the recording. While these solutions sometimes work, I wouldn't get your hopes up too much.

It's no way normal. I've had it happen in the past but it has been awhile. Your only option, like The Merg said, is a reset. Probably won't get your recording back but hopefully the reset keeps it from happening again.

I figured it out. Live in an apt. The installer used one of those flat cables to run through our sliding glass door. The door must of shredded it. No signal on tuner 2. So tomorrow, I'm heading to Home depot for a new one or a possible better solution.
