this is the kind of show that explains how well USA is doing things...
the promos (http://www.usanetwork.com/series/whitecollar/) look really slick and stylish and it has a great looking cast, im thinking this is going to be one of my favorites of the year...
plus tiffani thiessen FTW!!

Effectively, this one show was the determining factor in us keeping cable this fall. It is essentially the one cable program that we're recording this fall (that isn't a carry-over from summer). Everything else we're recording and watching we could have gotten from our antenna.
So I kind-of hope it is really good, because effectively we're paying about $4 per episode of this series. :) (Not really; we will still be watching CNN and The Weather Channel and probably put E! and Food Network on in the background sometimes.)

I definitely plan on checking this out.
Based on last night's 1:13 pilot, with very likeable characters and tight writing, "White Collar" has winner written all over it. But the incarcerated forger dude going from two-time loser to FBI consultant in the 1st epi was a bit of a stretch.
I'm in.

I'm in.Agree. Fortunately we can soon forget about that stretch and if the writing holds, this is winner.

We loved it! I was impressed with the plot they came up with as far as the Spanish notes. Very imaginative and actually quite believable.
And I get some eye candy too!!

I like it, but there are some parts I don't like(Walking out of the front door of a maximum security prison with no questions asked...BS).
The big distraction is Ms.Amber Thiessen herself(Not that I don't like her), Seeing her as the wife of Tim DeKay/Peter Burke doesn't sit well with me, I just don't see that happening at all(I would have loved her as a fellow FBI agent of his).
Quirky start, but SP set.

Thanks for the heads up on this show. We watched the pilot last night and both very much enjoyed it. I never would have heard of it otherwise. :)
We both enjoyed it very much and are looking forward to more.

I also enjoyed it. USA's original programming has always been pretty strong (for the most part). Looking forward to future episodes.

I like what I have seen so far and have already established a series link.
My only disappointment is seeing how poorly tiffani thiessen has aged.
I thought it was good also. Hope it keeps up with good story lines.
Will be recording this show.

Ouch!! You don't hear that about male actors. Personlly, I'm glad to see she is not Botoxed and pulled back to her ears.

I have not seen Mario Lopez in anything so it would not fair for me to judge but I have seen Elizabeth Berkley in a few things and thought she aged considerably better than Tiffani did.

Luckily, they rebroadcast each episode a lot, so I was able to record it again, and now I have the pilot episode on my DVR.

USA is one of my most-watched channels, with lots of great original programming (Burn Notice, Royal Pains, In Plain Site, White Collar) and re-runs of House and NCIS.
USA, Fox, and CBS makes up about 90% of my non-premium TV viewing.

Finally watched ep1 last night and enjoyed it, looks like yet another USA hit. USA and FX are the premiere drama and comedy channels right now IMO and that includes the big 4 networks. Now will this replace Monk's time slot when it finishes up?

Hope you guys have been keeping up with the episodes still...episode 4 was another solid one...nice case with the illegal smuggling of gold from iraq...felt appropriate with it being so close to veterans day...
i'd like to seem more diahann carroll if they can work the scheduling out...shes a great actress, but really happy with the direction of the show so far...any one else have thoughts on where neals backstory is going to finally infringe on his work with the fbi?

Hey guys, I'm here on behalf of USA Network and I wanted to bump this to see if any of you have stuck with White Collar through season 1 since we're well on into season 2.
Make sure to make Tuesdays at 9/8c a weekly event!

Welcome to dbstalk USANetwork.
however, it's considered bad form to
A) advertise on the site.
B) bump a year old thread.

Have not had a chance to sit down and watch any of the Season 2 episodes yet of White Collar but they are on my DVR and if the kids cooperate this evening, I will be sitting down with Season 2 tonight.
