I like Uverse, I really do but, they are beginning to get on my nerves with their failure to offer any of the sports subscription pkgs. They have the ESPN College Gameday but, that's it. No Center Ice, no MLB Extra Innings, no NBA League Pass, nothing. I think they've had enough time to add these to their lineup but, there's absolutely no sign of them doing so. If you call to ask, all you get is that they're negotiating for it. They've been saying that for over a year now, when I signed up. IN fact, they'll tell new customers who ask about them before signing up that they'll be available. I may have to seriously think about switching either back to DTV or Comcast and that's ashame because, as I said, Uverse is a nice system with some great features like THDVR and Media Sharing, with more things to come. If AT&T wants to keep their customer base and attract new ones, they had better get on the stick and add those pkgs so they can keep up with the other big providers.

Gotta keep in mind the nature of the decision-makers in AT&T. Old farts that could less about what you care about. :D

I can believe that. Lately, there was alot of speculation that they would be adding MLB Network and possibly Extra Innings but, almost immediately, a memo was sent to all CSR's to tell customers who call about it that MLB Network will not be added in 2010 and that was final. Rumors have run rampant that AT&T was in talks with MLB to add it and that they're at an impasse. Speculation is that they can't agree on where to place it in AT&T's lineup. Supposedly, MLB wants it available to all customers in the basic pkgs but, AT&T only wants it in their Sports Pack, where if any customer wants it, they pay the extra $10 a month for the pkg. And there's also rumors that AT&T would add Extra Innings but, that they want to make it different and unique for AT&T customers, whatever that means.

AT&T already has their program. If it meets your needs, great. If not, look elsewhere. No reason to wait for them to deliver something that they probably have no intention of delivering...

My M-I-L has U-verse and it is great for her. Everything (phone, internet, tv) in one package from one provider. But she lives alone and the 4 stream, 1 HD DVR limit does not affect her. Plus she mainly watches networks and basic cable channels, so the channel limitations don't affect her either.
Great product for small families that don't need every channel available.
Would not work in my house as I have 5 HD DVR's and 1 HD receiver and there are 5-6 HD streams being recorded most evenings.

I are one and I find ATT 10 times better than Dish (1997-2008) and 27 times better than DiWrec (1995-1997 and 2008-2010).:D
