I see channel 100 (the one all receivers get whether they are activated or not) no longer runs plugs for PPV programs but instead offers a listing of the DirecTV channels "A to Z". I wonder what prompted this change after years and years of plugs for PPV programming...

you should have said all directv recivers because I do not think dishnetwork receivers would get that channel.

very helpful response, thanks for pointing that out.

I think there are some changes being made to the directv information channels over the next month or so. this may be one of them.

Cute....

I guess his posting this thread in a DirecTV section of the forum just wasn't clear enough for you... (cough) ;)

I don't know what they are up to but I'm sure it's nothing harmful.

I did notice that channel 100 now has HDCP turned on, and so maybe they're testing that.

Why not also mention all cable tv receivers, free satellite receivers, fiber optic and IPTV receivers, and all old receivers?

You know what? I didn't think the comment, warranted a response....
