Not sure if this has been discussed recently or if I'm even posting in the right group, but is anyone having any issues with their season passes. Specifically, my HR20-700 is recording 1st-run as well as repeats of The Simpsons even though I have the preference set to 1st-run only. I even deleted the season pass and then created a new one with the settings the way I want them and it was fine for a week, but then it started recording repeats again yesterday. It also did the same thing with another season pass I have for Top Gear. All this started sometime after the double-play update around the time all the fall season shows started premiering.

Thanks,

Rob

This is discussed under the HD DVR section. Here is a long thread that talks about issues with setting up "Advanced SEARCH/AUTORECORD" [Link (http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=132971)]. Your exact issue has been talked about.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't set up nor do I see a reason why I should have to set up an "advanced SEARCH/AUTORECORD" when my original season pass was working perfectly fine for years. It was a simple season pass set to record 1st run only that was behaving itself. It just started misbehaving a couple of weeks ago. I'll take my issue to the HD-DVR section.

I'm moving this to the HD DVR forum.

That issue usual occurs when the company that provides the schedule data to D*, does not include the proper info to determine whether its a repeat or not. They may have provided it properly in the past, but something changed recently.
