I have another thread asking about combo BD players. Specifically one that plays BD and network shares. In researching I came across this hybred player by a company named HDI Dune: Dune BD Prime 3.0 (http://dune-hd.com/hd_players/111-dune-bd-prime-3.0.html).
This particular model is on pre-order for $399 at Digital Connection (https://www.digitalconnection.com/store/Product_List.asp).
Looks like the initial player appeared in late 2008 and was "decent" but buggy based this CDFreaks Review (http://www.cdfreaks.com/review/15233-HDIs-DUNE-BD-Prime-Blu-ray-review/).
This looks like what I was looking for, but I'm not sold on it yet.
Anyone have any info on the company or their players?
