Is it a possibility that the Canadian TV networks (CBC, CTV, Global, and A-Channel) would be available in the international packages in the future?

Now that's an interesting Idea. Obviously where they carry programs that are protected by rights of a US station there is a problem. But where they carry unique programming there are certainly possibilities.

That would be great. I really miss watching curling on Saturday mornings.
No, really.
In college, there was nothing better for a hangover than to watch curling for a few hours.
Oh, the good old days.....

Nope. No chance. There are too many program rights issues involved. But there are ways to get Canadian programing in the U.S. via a Canadian provider.

I plan on getting BEV in September for those stations and the sports channels. I'll be able to catch all the Leafs games, and get a little taste of home!
Without the feed going off as soon as the game is over like on Center Ice!:)

That makes me wonder if the program rights are there since they are already carried on DISH, just like retrans rights for locals.

Nope...it's an entirely different kettle of fish. For example, if you could get CITY-TV out of Toronto, you'd be able to see ENTERPRISE a day earlier than the rest of the country. Things like that make affiliates yell.
