Sometime around 8:45-9:00 tonight it appears we lost all four Bay Area HD locals. I'm getting "we're working on it" message. No other problems with 119 and SD locals are fine.

I wouldn't have known it except we were watching a recorded show on my 722 when my 612 rebooted at 9:00 after it had been recording. I scrambled to reset the remainng recordings for the night to the SD channels.

As of 11:30 pm they seem to be working. If someone could let me know they did or did not have this experience, I'd know whether to worry about my equipment.

I had the same problem last night and first thought that my 722 had died on me. Then I decided to check those channels on my 211 and same problem. I did lose one recording for sure and need to see if I got all of Dollhouse and Medium recorded.
I won't care if I lost Law and Order as that show has become too political for my tastes.

Anyway, you are not alone.

BTW, I'm on the edge of getting the locals OTA here but have been afraid to record them except for Channel 2 FOX as it comes in very good most of the time. When they finish the work on Sutro, it could get even better here.

Thanks for responding. Your experience was the same as mine and "L&O" is a season shift or throw away for us too. I have about 45 minutes of "Medium" and "Dollhouse." I'm a little slow under time pressure these days.:sure:

OTA in Santa Rosa? Wow, I'm envious.

I lost HD locals out of SF about 9PM Friday, I switched to
SD....couldn't miss that beauty on Dollhouse........it's happened to me before, local HD's gone missing. I'm amazed it works as well as it does........

Yes my locals were out and to make it even more frustrating, my OTA locals went out and if I was on an out channel and then tried to switch to a sat channel, that would be out too. I rebooted twice and both times - at first sat channel would work but not OTA and then both would be out. I ended up watching Dollhouse and Numb3rs on my TV's tuner in real time with commercials - horrors!
Things seem to be OK this morning.

Out here too. Complained today and got credited the $5.99 charge for locals.

Now I have to see if I can watch Dollhouse online on my PC. Uggh.

I know this doesn't happen that often, but too bad they couldn't switch HD timers to SD automatically when this does happen.
