I just took delivery of an iPod touch 32GB 3rd generation. The thing is sweet. I've already download the DIRECTV application which allows me to view the guide and set my DVR. The app is great. :righton:

Are there any other cool DIRECTV apps for iPhone and iPod Touch? Aside from DIRECTV apps, any other cool apps you guys recommend?

I am not aware of any other Directv apps at this time other then the application for Sunday Ticket & Superfan subscribers to watch games and view stats

I use the AOL Radio app daily. Pandora is another good one.

There are a ton of great free apps. I would definitely start there before buying anything.
I've owned the Iphone 3G since it came out last summer and I've probably spent only $15 bucks on paid apps.

There are lots of games to pass your time for just a few hours. I paid the $4.99 for Monopoly, it's great on plane trips, or any long waits. Fun game.

If you are a sports person, I use Sportacular for sports scores.

There are a few other Apps I use all the time Facebook, Now Playing (movie times), Shazam (play a song, it will tell you what it is).
