I've tried my darndest and cannot get 100 on all transponders, is it even possible?

I have a bunch in the 90s and a few in the 80s, but shouldn't I be able to have 100 on all transponders?

Could this be my wiring, diplexers, multiswitch, or my box?

Should I call DirecTV about this and see if they can send a tch to get 100 on all transponders?

With a larger dish and on a clear cool night you probably could get all max signal (provided it was pointed perfect). But, since you can go down to around 40 without losing signal it is not too important.

Your NEVER going to get 100 on all transponders.

In addition, transponders 4, 12, 18, 20, 26 and 28 on 101 are on the spot beam satellite DirecTV4S, so depending on where you live it would be impossible get get all of them at 100. Some will give you 100 since they're focused right on your area, but you may be outside or just barely inside the footprint for others. Again it depends on location.

I've got a 30" Winegard in North Texas near the center of the Conus signal and I can't peg 100 on all visible transponders. I do get some 100's and most are very high 90's on a sunny clear day but all has not been possible.

I remember a few years ago that Directv told me that hitting 80 on signal strength is very good to them. I hover between 80-95 on average for all transponders on clear nights.

This reminds me of the ''You are a DBS Geek when.....'' thread.
