View Full Version : HOPE FOR CSN-PHILLY & CSN-NW in HD for NBA League Pass

As we all know, DirecTV doesnt have a deal with CSN Philly and as a result, when 76ers games are shown on NBA LP they've historically been in standard def even though the game is broadcast in HD (most likely the SD feed is provided by the NBA to all League Pass Carriers). This is also the case for when the CSN-NW feed is shown for Blazers games.

Why doesn't the NBA make the HD feeds available to MSOs for League Pass games?

This would be great news for displaced 76ers and Blazers fans who want to watch their team out-of-market on League Pass, but have been saddled with SD feeds.

Perhaps Satellite Racer can shed some light on this?
