I think I scored a pretty good deal on a 2nd HD DVR. I have been trying to get another for over a year and a half but I did not want to shell out any more money for the upgrade. I called and spoke to a CSR regarding a real non issue knowing that my goal was to get a good deal on a 2nd HD DVR. He was very chatty and talked a lot about pro football in Florida and working in the Orlando area which was right up my alley. After he answered my non important question, I brought up the possibility of a 2nd DVR upgrade. After he did some checking he said the cost up front was $199 but he could get it for me at $99 which I had been offered that price before. I then brought up my credits and my customer good standing. He then came back with $99 up front and $10 off my bill each month for a year. I said OK but asked if that is all he could do? He then came back and said $99 up front and $20 credit for 6 months and he would throw in 3 months of Showtime for free. I think if you don't get the deal you want just be patient and try again.
