DWTS vs. SYTYCD --- Monday 8PM Smackdown

This coming Monday at 8:00pm marks the first time that Dancing with the Stars will have its performance show directly against an episode of So You Think You Can Dance.

Monday's SYTYCD is not a judged performance show, but it is dancing.

Which will you watch live?

Actually, neither. We'll record both and watch them later that night so we can skip the commercials.

Is it too late for you to add that option (Neither)?

Next Monday prime time is weird. "SYTYCD" instead of "House" on Fox and CBS has repeats of its entire lineup. But the ratings will be interesting as the younger demos are heavy for both "House" and the CBS comedies.

We do not watch SYTYCD, only DWTS. We record it each week but watch after we build up enough buffer, which lately, has needed to be about an hour - too much crap.

Now that you have the "Neither" option, I can vote in this poll.

We don't watch any prime time programming live. We're usually getting the little ones ready for bed between 7:30 and 8:30, and then we'll watch something that we have recorded before we head to bed for the night.

Generally we're watching whatever was recorded the night before - so we'll probably watch SYTYCD on Tuesday.

Not really a big fan of either show. We watched the majority of one season of DWTS, but never picked it back up.

I think SYTYCD is the superior show, but I don't watch anything "live" any more, unless I catch up to it towards the end of a program. :D I will watch SYTYCD before I watch DWTS though.

I agree. SYTYCD is a better show that DWTS. There were scheduling conflicts last year (I think) so we always chose SYTYCD over DWTS, but the growing commercial breaks now make it necessary to watch both of them in delayed fashion.
