Did any of you others notice something about the Red Wings game Sat night? I swear this has got to be the most ****ty pq I have EVER seen on DTV!!! The pq was so piss poor it hurt my eyes to even try to watch. And it didnt matter if you was watching the FS Det feed or the CBC feed. They were very ****ty.The picture was so blurry

theres been alot of hockey games on HD channels in SD. but I know those two were not on a HD channel. It was pretty blurry though from what I saw few hours ago.

I watched the CBC SD feed and it looked fine to me. There were some audio drop outs but pq was ok.

A lot of FSN rsn's seem to not have NHL in HD.

CSN CHI / CSN CHI + has ALL GAMES IN HD.

chicago has to show all the games in HD to try and catch up for not showing any the last.... well forever.

Seems like all of the CSNs have their NHL games in HD.

FSN needs to get their act together. I thought the new command center in Houston was suppose to solve all this.

The Blue Jackets feed on 660-1 wasn't there at the start of tonight's game, then came on with the bars and suddenly during the intermission it switched to a beautiful full-screen HD picture. Anyone know what gives?

As for last night, I didn't get an FSN Detroit feed. Just the CBC and it wasn't bad for SD. I was watching the WS though after hockey and football all day and night.

I agree that the Red Wings FSN Detroit feed was terrible. Lots of SD feeds (like the MSG SD feeds) are barely watchable. My wife calls it Blur-o-vision.

yeah the CBC feed was better than FS DET but still it also hurt my eyes. After the game was over I even had a headache literally because of it. I havnt ever seen nothing like this before on anything. I was trying to guess if this was due to the fact both feeds were overflow channels??? ( you know how most of the time the overflow channels are a bit crummy )

But all games in HD started with cubs / sox / bulls about 2 years ago on CSN CHI.

Perhaps I'm imagining this but the CBC and tsn sd feeds look great to me. I would imagine it has something to do with them being directly pulled from the HD feeds.. Wish the same could be said for the sportsnetwest feeds.

I agree, finally gave up trying to watch it...the quality was the worse I have seen in a long time.

It's not that FSN *can't* show all NHL games in HD, it's just that some teams and FSN channels aren't spending the money to actually send equipment to road games to record the games in HD in the first place. Heck, the Red Wings are the top in terms of money and what they do for their team and even they don't do all road games in HD.

In the end it all comes down to $$$$.
