I just purchased this program so that I can convert some family films but was wondering if it would convert some of my old dvd's properly into the mpeg format that my HR2x's will see. It has 2 mpeg2 convert options. One is HD which I like cause my tv's are HD and then it has another mpeg2 that is not HD. I use Tversity now but wanted to use WMP to play my movies to my STB's. I already read the read on the how to and was able to get the photos to view perfect using MediaShare but didnt want to put the movies through the software (which takes more an than hour to convert according the HowTo) if it wasnt going to work.
TVeristy is a great program and has been working for me but still loose quality on the transcoding. I can convert the movies with this program and then play them from WMP with better quality. Also, a lot of the kids movies are getting scratched up and need to back them up before the DVD's go completely bad.
Any input would be great. Thanks
