Cant wait, the PC gamers are crying over the lack of many important features...but I have always played on 360 anyways with the COD series and it seems like it is going to be awesome.

Have it preordered with release day delivery at Amazon. Just getting the standard edition.

I have my copy coming from Amazon. Figure I'll use that $20 credit for Forza 4. I can hardly wait to play online. I've been tuning up with COD4MW for about 2 weeks now!

I also can't wait to play the single player game. I want to see what all the controversy is about. I can't wait to shoot some terrorists.

Picked up my copy and finished the campaign about 6.30am and all i can say is WOW!! :hurah: another winner for infinity ward and i will start special ops tonite

Update:
Multiplayer play is very good search time for games shorter comapred to COD4
The maps for some are huge took me a good minute to find someone from the other team and i like the new rewards system, final kill cam to see who the poor soul who got pnwed last

Same here, I was too cheap to pay shipping so I might get it by this weekend. If I was thinking I would have had it in the queue on gamefly and probably get it a few days sooner and then buy it for a good $10-$15 under msrp. Oh well at least I get the $20 from Amazon.

I'm new to gaming, so I thought I would start with the prestige edition and Xbox Elite console. Ordered Monday morning received everything Tuesday afternoon. With things being busy at work, I probably won't get everything connected until Saturday. BTW the night vision goggles are insane.

I recommend getting a HDMI cable from monoprice.com tgater, unless you have an extra one lying around. Cant believe Microsoft is skimping on the cables now and only including composite cables instead of an hdmi and component cable like they used to with their systems...

yeah what's up with that?? Seems like MS is skimping the essentials with the price drop. At first I was like WTF?? Why are they going with composite?? You can't get hd with composite!!

I hope to be picking up the Prestige Edition for the PS3 soon on eBay seeing it's sold out everywhere in stores and the only version available is the Xbox 360 one. Hoping with the Bing cashback I'll be able to get it for around $180.

They are treating it like any other add on component you buy these days. Most Blu-ray/DVD players, Video Cameras, Receivers, Media Adapters, etc. all come without cables.

I really have no idea why, they are dirt cheap for companies to include, but I guess if it passes some savings on I am all for it...Monoprice to the rescue! (and my basement stash of cables :lol: )

I picked this up and am trying to figure out one issue. It worked great on single player, but when I went multiplayer on the net, I started having problems with movement. I'd move around in several different directions without moving the stick. The guy I was playing with thought my stick was stuck, but I was going in different directions. I was thinking lag, but still would think if I was going forward, I'd still just go forward. If I sat there for a few seconds, it'd stop.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm on PS3, latest patch for CoD (I haven't loaded the latest optional PS3 firmware.)

PS3 is hardwired to a 10MBPS DSL connection. I put the PS3 in a DMZ to see if that helps, haven't tried after that though.
