722k - Blue HDTV light spastic

The blue HDTV light in the upper right hand corner of the front panel goes off and on at irregular and unpredictable times. It usually comes on when I power up, but not always. Then it will go off and on randomly while watching TV or just recording while not watching. I don't really care if is off or on, but it just seems strange for it to act this way.

Sounds like the LED in there is taking a crap...is it still under warranty?

Do you have any black electrical tape? The kind used to cover up the Check Engine light on the dash? :D
