I have used it for several years now. It has saved me on several occasions and is easy to use for attachnents I want to scan. They have frequent updates & warnings.

If it is included, use it for the 6-12 months. Then subscribe if you're satisifed, or do like many, remove it and put in Norton AV... better go for Norton System Works which includes the AV plus a lot of neat toys that keep your PC alive.

One catch. I just got a new computer from Gateway that had Norton installed. Since I have a subscription to McAfee Clinic, I uninstalled Norton, but I got a few lockups after I installed Personal Firewall Plus. Someone told me that Norton doesn't uninstall fully and leaves some Registry keys behind which causes a conflict. Anyone seen the same thing?

From what I have heard this is quite common with all of the AV programs. The nice thing is that if you get Norton SystemWorks it comes with Norton Utilities which will clean up your registry without having to resort to RegEdit which can be risky.
Lacking that program, you may wish to drop McAfee an e-mail. I believe that they are more than happy :D to assist you in removing the remaining bits of Norton (and visa-versa with Norton removing McAfee..if anyone has that problem).
