Last night's game was one of the few All-Star games I enjoyed watching ... though I don't buy into the argument that players are playing harder with something on the line, it was nice to see a competitive game.
I was disappointed Willis didn't get into the game, but I'm not surprised. Maybe if it was a little bit warmer, Willis would've pitched instead of Wood or Woody Williams. I haven't seen him pitch this year yet, and I thought last night's game would've been my first look at him ... but I should've followed my instinct, which was there's no way he was getting in the game with Baker managing.
Gagne the queer looking guy from L.A. Gave up the lead for the national leaguers. The Bum! If they'd had used Dontrell he might have been able to get through the 8th  I've always been partial to the N.L. and always will be. Don't like the A.L. and the DH!
