Damn I think my dish is gonna go fly away off the roof of my apartment. :eek2::eek2:
The weather is awful with HUGE winds. :(
I just needed to express and hope my dish is allright.
Guess I will find out in the morning.

I'm in the NW and going through these storms too. These south winds have been kinda nasty these last few days.
If it's any comfort, my dish is lagged to my deck post and it's still there this morning. :)
Got two slimlines here in Seattle, and the wind has been serious. So far, no problems.

I was glad to wake up, check the sat signals and all seems fine lol. I say unbelievable it survived those crazy winds!
Hope everyone elses dish is ok in the northwest.

Strong winds last night. No issues with my dishes, thankfully.

I wish I had saved the picture..........
In the shot you could see a traffic light above an intersection and a brick chimney laid out horizontally in the street. Attached to the chimney was a DTV dish antenna.
The caption was..."Installer was back charged the whole payment for the installation for failure to attach the dish to a secure portion of the structure."
If done right they are ok in the wind. The Ka/Ku need more TLC (monopoles).
