A bunch of my mdu digital bulk customers got a 180 charge on their bill this month. DirecTv says disregard. Nobody else? Multiple properties were involved.

Several years ago, our MSO was NORSAT. When they went away, we talked with one on the west coast, but ended up going with PDI in FL. Somehow, we ended up on the west coast MSO's list of system operators. When they did an audit, all of our customers were turned off.

PDI worked with us to get their services restored, but it was a huge PITA.

Yes this has been a problem which began to surface in late July. Particularly it has affected my customers who were previous DTH/Reg customers and at a property which was converting to TMU/Bulk status.

The system flaw is that when they processed the request it is believing that the customer is not making their full 12 or 24 month committment due to the transition. This automates an early cancellation fee to the account even though the customer still has active service. At the same time I have had a few customer's who were not converting their account and just received it out of the blue.

Contact your MSO or DirecTV and they will be able to resolve this issue.
