I am fortunate enough to have both center ice and all of the rsn's for a 6 month period. My thought is to keep the rsn's for next NHL season but am wondering if there is a blackout rule in relation to the center ice package, or if there is no coloration between the two, other than they show the same games. My fear is that I am seeing everything now because I have both packages but once I drop center ice, I will lose some of the regional broadcasts.

Even with Sports Pack(RSN Pack) hockey games will be blacked out, outside your area. You still need center ice

So the only reason that I am able to see the games on the rsn's right now is because I also have center ice?

That's correct. When you subscribe to Center Ice, the games are viewable in the 700's as well as the associated RSN channel in the 600's. If you don't have CI, the game will be blacked out on both.

I had a sneaky suspicion...thanks for clarifying because you saved me a big headache for next season.

The benefit that you are receiving w/sports pak is you get to see the pre-and post-game shows on the RSN's. Plus some college hockey not found elsewhere.

A quick question to those without Center Ice and the RSN's.

Are you able to see the replays of games late at night or the following day?
I have CI and I can, just want to see if people without CI also can.

Replays are not subject to blackouts. They will need to have the RSN to see it.
