I love the NFL short cuts as they save me lots of time scanning through commericals. The problem is my HR20 seems averse to recording them, for instance last night at 2am Eastern there was a Chargers Short Cut I wanted to see. I set this to record several days in advance. At 2:07am Eastern, my wife noticed that the DVR was not recording anything. I was quite angry and checked my To Do List to find that this was now set to record Tuesday morning at 6am Eastern. There were no other recordings going on at this time and this has happened before, anyone know what the deal with these are?

I believe you need SuperFan to have access to short cuts (SD or HD).

As for recordings getting bumped to later time slots, I've had that happen a few times. I think the issue is that the guide data for DirecTV's part-time channels (including NFL ST) tends to be volatile, where individual items disappear temporarily then come back later. I've had to keep an eye on my To Do list whenever setting hockey games on Center Ice channels for precisely this reason. When an item disappears from the guide data, the DVR automatically searches for the same item in another time slot and schedules it to record there (this is a good thing).

Thanks for the reply...thought that might have been the case. My money tree is drying up, so I have to be selective about my sports add-ons. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on something I was paying for.
