ViP722. Whenever I schedule a program that conflicts with other timers, I select "Automatically resolve by priority". I then I "Restore" the program to see what timers conflict. The only description listed is "Locked Event". The conflicting timers are not channels that are locked. I do have channel locks and the system is locked to hide the locked channels.

If these are local channels and if you have the mirrored locals locked then that might be it.

If a locked event recoded when you unlock it it will tell you the channel that was recorded. If the recorded ch was was not locked then I have no clue.

You may have something there. I'll test your theory and report the results.
Thanks.

It appears that when I have the system locked, it will always generate the Lock Event message.

I use the mirrored channels on my 622s. Both local and premium. I have the system locked, those channels with mirrors locked and set it to Hide Locked. I never see the Locked Event. I vaguely recall on one of them when my wife unhid the locked she was getting some locked events. But again, I'm old, confuse easily and don't remember what was for breakfast this morning

Kent,

I see the same thing. It only happens when there is a conflict with a timer. When you set a timer that has a conflict, a screen pops up that should display the show that has a conflict. It displays as Locked Event. This bug has been around for a while.

I had not noticed this before and I run into this condition a lot. Maybe I've made changes that precipitated this.

I saw a locked event recording last week. The problem was that I set the timer on TV1 where the channel wasn't locked and on TV2, the channel was locked and required a password to view the program from the DVR. It went away when I unlocked the channel.
