I just ordered Showtime and HBO for the 3 month promo period. I was hoping to catch up on Dexter.... but can't seem to find past episodes... what gives?

Satellite is not likely to ever offer "true" on demand, because of the design of the system.
I can't speak to Dexter... but I know there are lots of "on demand" via Dish Online (if you are connected to broadband internet) movies and TV shows.
But there just isn't an "on demand" equivalent to what the cable companies are able to offer, in large part due to the nature of the beast.

Depends on your definition of "true" on demand... as compression technologies improve and penetration of broadband increases, there IS the possibility of delivering an on-demand system via the internet.
Didn't Dish Network have a partnership is Clear's Wi-Max system?

It sounds like he has more of a problem with the library choices rather than the delivery method.

Thanks guys... yeah the content of the current DishOnLine sucks... and it would be nice to have On Demand from the premium stations like cable does. Too bad...
