I was recording & watching the late football game on NBC OTA last night with a little bit of buffer ahead of the point I was watching. Suddenly, it jumped to the end of the buffer, which was about 20 minutes later. When I rewound, or hit skip back, it went to a few seconds before this jump occurred, and when it hit the same point, it again jumped to the end of the buffer. It looked like it was recording the whole thing, including the part being jumped over. I could keep watching in real time, but every time I rewound or skipped back, it would go back to that exact same spot, then jump to the end of the recording when it hit the other exact same spot. End result: everything recorded after this magic jump point was not accessible. This was the first time I've seen this, but I've only had this 722k for about 2 weeks now. Has anyone else experienced this?

thanks,
shaun

Yup. In general it's glitched out like that when I'm watching something I'm actively recording and it his the end of the event.

What usually fixes it is stopping out of the recording entirely (since it should be 'complete') and letting it 'zero out' the playback point, then hitting "play" again and fast forwarding to where you left off.

As mentioned, the whole recording is intact, but you must "leave" that recording and come back to it and FF to the point you had been unable to see previously. Until you select another recording, view live, ... the number of minutes that you are "behind live" when the scheduled recording stops recording can't be viewed.

hmm, since I was out of buffer, I did watch Dexter, then go back to the football game. It was still doing the same thing. Maybe I needed to wait until the entire recording finished?

When the entire recording finishes is when *I* have the problem occur. There is probably some situation where it happens before the recording ends, but it is very consistent for me with the recording ending while I'm watching "in catch up mode". It used to work correctly so you can hope the next firmware will get rid of the annoying problem (but replace it with some other annoyance).

Yeah, me too. I replaced my 722K to try and fix this and the new one was okay for a while but it just happened again ARGHHHHHH. Until proven otherwise, I say there's an inherent design flaw in the 722K causing this.
