Okay, the non spoiler stuff first:

* The series will premiere on Tuesday, October 28th.
* The premiere will be commerical free (like last season) and sponsored by Ford, who will be airing an "extended" commercial at the beginning and end of the show.

This information comes from Zap2It (http://tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve_main/1,1002,271|82355|1|,00.html), so I count it as being fairly reliable.
* The series takes place three years later.
* A four minute trailer will be shown during the airing of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on September 7th.
* Jack Bauer will be back at CTU, and will have a partner.
* Kim Bauer will also be working at CTU. :nono2:
* President Palmer survived the assassination attack.

After the way season two ended? I love the show, but sometimes it makes me wonder. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how things play out.

Geez, over three months to wait! :(

"Kim Bauer will also be working at CTU. "

If that's the case, I hope she gets some smarts during the off season!

Even if she doesn't start work at CTU, it would be nice for her to get some smarts!

kim working at CTU????if they put her behind a computer, i'll scream!!!!isn't she spose to just be like 16 and 17 in the first two seasons????so this will make her about 20 at best!!! maybe they'll put her in charge of handling bear traps and wild game(chortle)...

Well, at least she'll be the first woman inside CTU with a major rack.

Bumping this old thread...

I just finished watching 24 season 2 last night. Based on the ending, it seems to me like it would make more sense for season 3 to be the next day, not 3 years later. And, oh my goodness what an ending...wow!

I am very excited for season 3 to start. I would save up episodes of "24" on my hard drive and take a day off work and watch about five hours at a time. For me, it is the best drama on tv with a pace that doesn't let up.

Maybe Kim Bauer got some smarts when she was going to school at the college by Collin Farrell's house (those who have seen "Old School" will understand)...
